KISS ASPS GOODBYE Charity Event:
Last night I had the pleasure of doing makeup with our Nakeah Cosemtics makeup team at a charity event for the late makeup artist, Jemisha Mcferrin. The event was put together by the Tamu Artist Agency, Nakeah Cosmetics, and hosted by LisaRay (VH1’s Single Ladies) and Celebrity Photographer, Derek Blanks. The event raised money for the Jem’s Life Foundation, which promotes awareness for a rare form of cancer called Alveolar soft part sarcoma. Jem’s life was founded by Makeup artist, Jemisha Mcferrin before she passed away from ASPS in 2012.
I was so happy to be a part of this wonderful cause. It was a great night!

I tested out my new Lip Tars from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics last weekend. I am in LOVE! I bought three colors, Psycho, Vintage and Black Dahlia. Lip Tars have the longevity of a lipstick and are as easy to apply as a gloss. They go on slick and dry to a lovely satin finish. They also work great as a stain if you blot the color a bit once it is applied. A little goes a long way with the Lip Tars and I will def be buying more!

On Super Bowl Sunday, Natalia and I had the pleasure of bringing the Nakeah Cosmetics Bridal team to glam up a bride on her special day. The wedding was being held at PickWick Gardens in Burbank. This weekend was a super busy one for me! Early Saturday morning I was on set for a music video shoot for artist London Taylor. I had the wonderful opportunity to assist Makeup Master, Nakeah Fuller. What a wonderful and amazing experience it was to watch her in action! I learned so much and had a great time!
